Basketball Game Preview: North Augusta Yellow Jackets vs. Wilson Tigers

The North Augusta Yellow Jackets will square off against the Wilson Tigers on Monday. One thing working in North Augusta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.

North Augusta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 66-56 win over Gray Collegiate Academy.

Meanwhile, Wilson faced Crestwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Wilson came out on top against Crestwood by a score of 63-55. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won eight matches in a row.

North Augusta better keep an eye on Josh Leonard. He was instrumental in Wilson's win, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 11 boards. The contest was Leonard's seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Thompson, who posted 13 points in addition to six rebounds and four blocks.

North Augusta's win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Wilson, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8.
