Pacific entered their tilt with Mountain Grove on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Panthers.

Pacific's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Mountain Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.
