Softball Game Preview: Gramercy Christian Warriors vs. New Bern Christian Academy

The Gramercy Christian Warriors will venture away from home to challenge New Bern Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gramercy Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Gramercy Christian fell victim to Community Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cyclones, falling 13-0. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Meanwhile, New Bern Christian Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Community Christian last Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cyclones by a score of 12-11. The loss was New Bern Christian Academy's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Bern Christian Academy fell to 5-1. As for Gramercy Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Gramercy Christian might still be hurting after the 17-0 defeat they got from New Bern Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
