Rancho is 2-8 against Canyon Springs since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rancho Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Canyon Springs Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. Rancho has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 661 points over their last eight games.

Rancho can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Desert Oasis with a sharp 73-51 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Rancho has posted since December 26, 2023.

Rancho's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jakoi Lide led the charge by scoring 21 points along with five steals. Lide has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was R'Zha Whittle, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, even though Basic scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Canyon Springs still came out on top. Canyon Springs took their matchup against Basic 69-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Canyon Springs.

Canyon Springs got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emanuel Custard out in front who scored 14 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Custard has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Te?Shawn Spencer, who scored ten points along with two steals.

Rancho's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points per game. As for Canyon Springs, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Rancho came up short against Canyon Springs in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 54-49. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Spencer, who scored 19 points.
