It's playoff time, and Curry had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Satsuma Gators on Thursday, sneaking past 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Curry got a great performance from Skiely Perry as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.

On the hitting side, Curry saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shileigh Williams, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Kaydence Hutchison was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Curry's victory bumped their record up to 55-4. As for Satsuma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 34-23-3.

Coming up, Curry will challenge Orange Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Yellowjackets 1.7, the Makos 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Satsuma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
