Softball Recap: Castle Rock Comes Up Short

Castle Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fort Vancouver Trappers, falling 14-6. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trappers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Castle Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fort Vancouver, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trappers beat Castle Rock by a score of 27-8 later that day.
