South Aiken lost against Aiken back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The South Aiken Thoroughbreds lost 43-20 to the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets. The Thoroughbreds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Thoroughbreds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jasmine Epps, who posted six points along with ten boards and three blocks. Epps is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Tekinia Dixon, who earned six points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Malasia Jamison was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards for Aiken. Taylor Glover was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

South Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Aiken, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
