It was a good run, but Hamilton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Holland Christian Maroons, falling 62-36. While losing is never fun, the Hawkeyes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Maroons are ranked 20th).

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Holland Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Hamilton will face off against Thornapple Kellogg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holland Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wyoming at 7:00 p.m.
