Who's up and who's down

Have a Day

Decatur Central has been an offensive powerhouse for four straight weeks after the team lit up the scoreboard again last week. It picked up a decisive 'W' against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, finishing up at 47 - 8. Decatur Central made sure to walk the walk to justify being talked up as the big favorite. Bryce Jefferson deserves a lot of credit in the win. He rushed for 166 yards and threw for two touchdowns, a performance good enough to make him one of the top players in the power rankings last week.

Points Galore

Columbus North was the better team in every quarter against Jeffersonville last week and consequently the better team overall. The final score between Columbus North and Jeffersonville was a 56 - 14 blowout in Columbus North's favor. One major factor in the win was the play of junior true, who threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns. At 70 total points, this was the highest scoring power ranking game of the week.

Rocket Boost

Center Grove will have a better view of things this week after its strong showing last week propelled it four spots up the power rankings. That was the biggest rise of the week. It took its game against Franklin Central by a confident 35 - 3 score. No one had a larger role in the success than freshman Carson Steele, who brought his A game into the contest. He ran for 180 yards and also punched in three touchdowns.
