Volleyball Game Preview: Mills Vikings vs. Pinewood Panthers + How To Watch

The Mills Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Pinewood Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mills not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Jefferson.

Mills relied on the efforts of Yvie Trinh, who had three digs and three aces, and Chloe Wong, who had ten digs and five aces. Those three aces gave Trinh a new career-high. Pari Xiao also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Pinewood came out on top against Priory by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Pinewood.

Pinewood walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 19-25, 25-19.

Mills' record is now 10-15. As for Pinewood, their record now sits at 15-5.

Mills took their victory against Pinewood in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
