Perrysburg is a perfect 5-0 against Findlay since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will be playing at home against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Perrysburg sitting on 15 straight wins and Findlay on four.

Perrysburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Anthony Wayne, who was ranked second at the time (Perrysburg was ranked first). The Yellow Jackets had just enough and edged out the Generals 4-2.

Maddie Von Sacken spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aly Seuberling, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Hayley Griggs was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Findlay got the win against Napoleon on Monday by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Trojans have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Perrysburg's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Findlay, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Perrysburg took their win against Findlay when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 13-0 score. Will the Yellow Jackets repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
