Volleyball Recap: Oxnard Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Oxnard waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Foothill Tech Dragons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2021.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oxnard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stephanie Guerrero, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs Guerrero has posted over her last six contests. Makena Kott also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Oxnard now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Foothill Tech, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Oxnard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Del Sol on the 30th. Hopefully Foothill Tech paid attention to the Yellowjackets' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Yellowjackets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
