Suggested Video

Willow Springs extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 10-7 in the process. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in April.

As for Houston, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games.

For Houston's part, Ethan Carter was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was Carter's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kolby Sisco, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

As of now, neither Willow Springs nor Houston have any future games scheduled.
