Soccer Recap: Basic Comes Up Short

Basic managed to keep up with Sports Leadership & Management until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Wolves lost 8-3 to the Bulls. Basic have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jasmyne Johnson and Peyton Simmons scored all three of Basic's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Basic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Basic is set to challenge their familiar foe Silverado at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sports Leadership & Management will take on rival Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
