East English Village Prep lost 59-37 to Osborn on Thursday. While losing is never fun, East English Village Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while Osborn is ranked 189th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western International). They blew past Northwestern, posting a 58-16 win. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Western International's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for East English Village Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

East English Village Prep lost to Western International on the road by a decisive 34-17 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can East English Village Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
