Soccer Game Preview: Stoneman Douglas vs. Spanish River

Stoneman Douglas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Coral Glades a 7-0 shutout. Considering Stoneman Douglas have won five matchups by more than five goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Coral Glades from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Emily Rodriguez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Spanish River waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bobcats.

Spanish River's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Stoneman Douglas, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.
