Soccer Game Preview: Manual vs. Centennial

Manual is 0-6 against Centennial since May of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Manual has given up an average of 5.5 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manual is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Richwoods on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Knights.

Meanwhile, Centennial didn't have quite enough to beat Champaign Central on Wednesday and fell 3-2. Centennial haven't had much luck with Champaign Central recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Manual suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Centennial when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
