The Hunt Warriors will face off against the West Johnston Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hunt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season.

Hunt is returning to their home court after beating Fike on theirs, despite the fact Fike has dominated at home this season. Hunt walked away with a 58-47 victory over Fike on Friday.

Hunt got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Pridgen out in front who posted 14 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was AJ Hampton, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 17 points.

Meanwhile, West Johnston came up short against South Johnston on Thursday and fell 54-44. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunt will have to keep a close watch on Chase Gilmore and Christian McFall, a pair of players who had a big impact on West Johnston's prior game. Gilmore went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds, while McFall earned ten points and three steals. Josh Dyson was another key player, putting up seven points.

Hunt has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for West Johnston, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Everything came up roses for Hunt against West Johnston when the teams last played two weeks ago, as the team secured a 70-41 victory. In that matchup, Hunt amassed a halftime lead of 37-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
