Basketball Game Recap: Clearwater Fightin' Tigers vs. East Carter Redbirds

Clearwater lost against East Carter two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clearwater Fightin' Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 64-47 to the East Carter Redbirds, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Fightin' Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 479th, while the Redbirds are ranked 213th).

Clearwater's defeat was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14. As for East Carter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearwater will head out to square off against Neelyville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neelyville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Clearwater surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Carter, they will venture away from home to face off against Alton at 6:00 p.m. on February 17th. One thing working in East Carter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
