Flag Football Recap: Oxnard Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oxnard came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 51-6 loss at the hands of the Dos Pueblos Chargers. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Yellowjackets, who until this contest were averaging 11.72 points allowed.

Vanessa Cano threw for 149 yards and one touchdown. Jazzlene Dominguez was her top target, picking up 57 receiving yards and one TD.

The loss snapped Oxnard's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-7 record. As for Dos Pueblos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.
