Flag Football Recap: Oxnard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oxnard came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 51-6 loss at the hands of the Dos Pueblos Chargers. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Yellowjackets, who until this game were averaging 11.72 points allowed.

Vanessa Cano threw for 149 yards and one touchdown. Jazzlene Dominguez was her top target, picking up 57 receiving yards and one score.

With the defeat, Oxnard broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-7. As for Dos Pueblos, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
