Meanwhile, Nooksack Valley hadn't done well against Sehome recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Nooksack Valley had just enough and edged Sehome out 59-57.

Burlington-Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Nooksack Valley, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-5.

Burlington-Edison came up short against Nooksack Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 56-46. Can Burlington-Edison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
