Basketball Recap: Lewiston-Altura Comes Up Short

Lewiston-Altura was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 61-38 to the Pine Island Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-38 last Thursday.

Lewiston-Altura's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Pine Island, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Lewiston-Altura will face off against Caledonia at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Island, they will host Cannon Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
