Softball Recap: Inglemoor Comes Up Short

If Inglemoor was riding high fresh off their 23-5 takedown of Bellevue on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the Woodinville Falcons by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Tove Miller (2028) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

Inglemoor's loss dropped their record down to 13-5-1. As for Woodinville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Inglemoor will challenge Eastlake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodinville, they will take on Newport - Bellevue at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
