Volleyball Recap: Crestwood Wins Going Away Against Tunkhannock

Crestwood made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tunkhannock, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Crestwood Comets blew past the Tunkhannock Tigers 3-0 on Thursday. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

While Crestwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-23.

The win made it two in a row for Crestwood and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. As for Tunkhannock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestwood is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Abington Heights at 11:00 a.m. on March 29th. As for Tunkhannock, they will venture away from home to challenge Delaware Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
