Baseball Recap: Pleasanton Takes a Loss

Pleasanton lost against Uniontown on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blu-Jays fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Blu-Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Uniontown, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pleasanton will challenge rival Jayhawk Linn on May 6. Meanwhile, Uniontown is set to square off against their familiar foe Crest at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
