Volleyball Recap: St. Croix Lutheran Finds Playoff Glory Versus St. Croix Prep

St. Croix Lutheran had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the St. Croix Prep Lions on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Olivia Footh was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 11 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 16 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Footh wasn't the only good servers: St. Croix Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

St. Croix Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for St. Croix Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Coming up, St. Croix Lutheran will look to defend their home court on Saturday against New Life Academy at 3:00 p.m. St. Croix Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
