Basketball Recap: Menahga Takes a Loss

Menahga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 82-52 loss at the hands of the Roseau Rams.

Menahga's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Roseau, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Menahga will head out on the road to square off against New York Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roseau, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clearbrook-Gonvick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clearbrook-Gonvick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Roseau likes a good challenge.
