Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks vs. Clifton-Clyde Eagles

The Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks will head out to square off against the Clifton-Clyde Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Seabury Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Clifton-Clyde likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Bishop Seabury Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Osawatomie and fell 64-62. The contest marked the Seahawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was AJ Campbell, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Jace Hoffman was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Meanwhile, Clifton-Clyde played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by St. John's/Tipton Catholic 68-39. The Eagles were down 53-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop Seabury Academy fell to 4-1. As for Clifton-Clyde, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.
