Basketball Recap: Horizon Hawks vs. University Cougars
Horizon played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through an 81-46 loss at the hands of the University Cougars. Mo Kamara was his usual excellent self, going 11 of 19 en route to 28 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for University. Horizon dropped their record down to 1-22 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points over those games. As for University, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.
Horizon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 78-55 loss against Lake Buena Vista on the 3rd. As for University, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-55 victory against Boone on the 5th.
