Palmer had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Lexey Maxwell paced Palmer's offense, picking up seven kills. Maxwell got some help from Harley Ellis and her nine assists. Maxwell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Tournament Opponent has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hutto on the 22nd. Hopefully Palmer paid attention to Tournament Opponent's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Tournament Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
