Baseball Recap: Alburnett Comes Up Short

Alburnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Northeast Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Tuesday.

Alburnett's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Northeast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Alburnett has already played their next match (against Central Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northeast, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-8 victory against Anamosa on the 19th.
