Basketball Recap: George Washington Eagles vs. Roxborough Wolves

George Washington kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 78-48 loss at the hands of the Roxborough Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since December 23, 2024.

Despite the defeat, George Washington saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dontae Dorsey posted nine points. Aisaiah Young was another key player, putting up nine points.

Roxborough got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quincy Wells out in front who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Terah Morris, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 12 points.
