Basketball Recap: Harmon Takes a Loss

Harmon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Mill Valley Jaguars, falling 91-33. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Jaguars are ranked 29th).

Harmon's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mill Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Harmon is taking a road trip to take on Turner at 7:01 p.m. on January 28th. As for Mill Valley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Shawnee Mission Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Mill Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Shawnee Mission Northwest likes a good challenge.
