The Fairfield Falcons won the last time they faced the Chase Kats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Fairfield walked away with a 42-33 victory over Chase. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fairfield.

Fairfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mikayla Pugh out in front who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pugh has scored at least 25% of Fairfield's points. Another player making a difference was Erin Schwertfeger, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Chase, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will take on Classical at TBD on Tuesday. As for Chase, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stafford at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Stafford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Monday.
