Baseball Recap: Belleville East Comes Up Short

Belleville East and O'Fallon squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Belleville East had to settle for second. They lost 14-5 to the Panthers. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Tommy Kramkowski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Belleville East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-16 record this season. As for O'Fallon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-10.

As of now, neither Belleville East nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
