Hewitt-Trussville and Mountain Brook are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Huskies will welcome the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hewitt-Trussville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Spain Park, who was ranked second at the time (Hewitt-Trussville was ranked fifth). The Huskies came up short against the Jaguars on Thursday, falling 6-3. Hewitt-Trussville haven't had much luck with Spain Park recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Mountain Brook hasn't lost a match since March 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They never let Northridge get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for Mountain Brook, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Mountain Brook has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Hewitt-Trussville, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Hewitt-Trussville skirted past Mountain Brook 1-0 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
