Basketball Recap: New Washington Takes a Loss

New Washington was the 47-39 winner over Switzerland County when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The New Washington Mustangs received a blow on Saturday as they fell 53-36 to the Switzerland County Pacers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Switzerland County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

New Washington will take on Shawe Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Switzerland County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 65-47 victory against Rising Sun on the 18th.
