The Alexandria City Titans took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). Everything went their way against Oakton as Alexandria City made off with a 58-33 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Alexandria City, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Alexandria City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Macodou Ndao out in front who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Teko Bostick Jr, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Alexandria City's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Oakton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alexandria City will face off against Bishop Ireton at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oakton, they will head out on the road to face off against Yorktown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
