Baseball Game Preview: Terrebonne Tigers vs. Loreauville Tigers

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Terrebonne's win against Westlake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Terrebonne came out on top in a nail-biter against Westlake on Monday, sneaking past 7-5. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly two runs.

Meanwhile, Loreauville was not the first on the board last Wednesday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against Westminster Christian Academy as Loreauville made off with a 17-4 victory. The Tigers have beaten the Crusaders the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Crusaders has come to flipping the script.

The win made it two in a row for Terrebonne and bumps their season record up to 4-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Loreauville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Terrebonne beat Loreauville 7-2 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Terrebonne since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
