Baseball Recap: Cole Comes Up Short

Cole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-2 to the George West Longhorns.

Cole saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karson Scroggins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Scroggins also stole a stolen base, marking his first of the season.

Cole's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for George West, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5-1.

Looking ahead, Cole will face off against Stockdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for George West, they will take on Great Hearts Northern Oaks at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
