Baseball Game Preview: Valley Mills Eagles vs. Moody Bearcats

For the second straight game, Valley Mills will face off against Moody. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Mills' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Moody's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

While Valley Mills' win against Moody wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Bearcats 2-1.

For Moody's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Cano, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Valley Mills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Moody, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
