Football Recap: Palmetto Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Palmetto Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Cathedral Academy Generals 46-6. Palmetto Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cathedral Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of ANDREW MOTLEY, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Palmetto Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cathedral Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Palmetto Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 56-14 win against Cross on the 19th. As for Cathedral Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 26-16 loss against King's Academy on the 19th.
