Football Recap: Kingdom Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Kingdom Prep Academy was the 51-0 winner over Holy Cross when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 37-36 to the Crusaders. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingdom Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Holy Cross, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingdom Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Jacinto Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 6. As for Holy Cross, they will welcome Christ the King Cathedral at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Golden Lions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
