Basketball Game Preview: Olympia Bears vs. Yelm Tornados

The Olympia Bears will challenge the Yelm Tornados at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Olympia has six straight wins, Yelm has 17 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Olympia humbled Bethel with a 74-34 victory. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Yelm lost 61-36 to Graham-Kapowsin on Monday.

Yelm's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Olympia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Olympia against Yelm in their previous meeting last Monday, as the squad secured a 72-35 victory. Does Olympia have another victory up their sleeve, or will Yelm turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
