Recap: St. Charles North North Stars vs. Jacobs Golden Eagles
The St. Charles North North Stars can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jacobs and snuck past 69-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Treval Howard and Ben Jurzak certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Howard scored 24 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Jurzak scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jurzak has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Bouchard, who scored three points along with seven rebounds.
St. Charles North's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Jacobs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
St. Charles North will face off against Palatine at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Palatine is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Jacobs, they will face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
