Baseball Recap: Mt. Vernon-Enola's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Mt. Vernon-Enola's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Wonderview Daredevils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warhawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Mt. Vernon-Enola's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Wonderview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Vernon-Enola will face off against Bigelow at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wonderview, they will challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Wonderview surely won't give up without a fight.
