The Aubrey Rogers Patriots will take on the Cape Coral Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Aubrey Rogers took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 24-15 margin over Old Forge. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Aubrey Rogers got a massive performance out of Sophia Truchan, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. Those two triples gave Truchan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Ardezzone, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and one triple.
Truchan wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Aubrey Rogers kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. Aubrey Rogers is 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Cape Coral entered their tilt with Gateway on Monday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-2 win.
Emma Brannan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three RBI, and one stolen base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brielle Pachick, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Allie Buice was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
Cape Coral's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Aubrey Rogers, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both Aubrey Rogers and Cape Coral just can't seem to miss. Aubrey Rogers has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Cape Coral struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.8 hits.
