Baseball Recap: American Heritage's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Merit Preparatory Academy on Friday, American Heritage came back down to earth. The Patriots lost 16-1 to the Tintic Miners on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

American Heritage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Swenson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, American Heritage fell to 2-1. As for Tintic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American Heritage will square off against Freedom Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tintic, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Wendover at 1:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
