Utica Eisenhower waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Troy Colts by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Utica Eisenhower took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Elise Biermann and Gina Fedrigo, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Liliana Lily Tripi and her 19 assists.

Utica Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Utica Eisenhower will be taking part in a tournament against Stoney Creek at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Troy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
